Tim,

Very funny..... yet I find that most docs will believe that they really have been selected as a Top Doc when they get that envelope. Congrads to you in becoming a real entrepreneur and recapturing your life!

4) If you decide to smoke in public while driving with your windows down, at least use marijuana instead of tobacco so that I will become as apathetic as you and just not care anymore.

Haha, great article. This is by far my favorite reason!

I love this article! Thanks for acknowledging this problem. I have extensive lung damage from tuberculosis and resulting asthma and COPD from it, so cigarette smoke literally damages me.
I thought I was the only one who gets frustrated when forced to breathe smoke in my car. There is nothing worse than cruising with the windows down and moon roof open on a sunny day than a smoker in a car near you and having to quickly put your car into lock-down mode until the smoker is gone.
I also like your 4 rules, especially the one about smokeless tobacco in public. I am in college where many people smoke, and personally, I think it intrudes upon my rights of freedom. I have to take different paths out of my way to class, which is hard for me since my breathing capacity is low, in order to escape the deathly smoke. People smoking do nothing but make my life harder due to my already damaged lungs and pure annoyance of their lack of respect.
So, let's ally together and enforce the right of non-smokers to breathe clean air!

It is good to learn that your blog is back online. I had never heard about you. But then I came to see to your blog from a squidoo lens. The lens was directed toyoursite.com/blog like that of kevin md's. But when I found less number of (you are a big name so must be having a lot of posts!!) then I thought something is wrong. Well now I know the reason.
These hackers are really nasty people. I have a small blog with very little amount of content, but when I see spammers (I was hoping for genuine commentators lol) I get irritated. So about hackers, it is a totally act of terrorism.
I have a friend a physician too, who is deep into clickbank marketing, once got one of his affiliate page hacked. The hacker simply changed the affiliate code and took a lot of commission even before my friend could know.
well tim bye for now.

Tim:

I read this and just had to respond to it. One of things I want to know is if you have had a CIMT done. I work with doctors and patients through a company called HeartSmartIMT here in LA. I work with The Berkely Heart people and have a running relationship with them because we find that our clients are the same people in the medical community. Please go to www.HeartSamrtIMT.com and look at the site. What worries me about your profile is that it sounds like you are a canidate for the silent killer, soft plaque. What we look for is totally different from what is looked for on a calcium score and the only other thing that gives the information that this does is the 64 slice ct. This is non invasive and takes 10 minutes. What we measure are the two interior walls of the carotid for thickening. We look at inflammation levels, can tell you the actual state or level of cardiovascular disease, and then even more importantly can tell you if you have plaques and what the integrity of them is, calcified, heterogeneous, or soft. I will get you a free scan from us if I can. We work with a mobile imaging service there in Denver. Give me a call if you are interested, but please do this. We work with some of the top cardiologists who use our technology as a baseline in determiming efficacy in treating their patients with CVD and reversing disease but we shine in is exposing disease in the aymptomatic patient. Call me or e-mail me, Mark has my number.
